The application developer should be fundamentally sound in object oriented programing and competent to work on general application programming activities. You will be called upon to assist in research, proof of concepts and troubleshooting tier two production support problems. Your work assignments will be generally well defined and you will be provided with the guidance and domain knowledge to choose the best techniques to meet your objectives. You will work closely with the senior development staff as well as business analysts, user experience, quality assurance, and project manager gaining exposure to all phases of the software development life cycle. Complete assigned tasks as directed in a timely manner using good object oriented coding practices and standards. You must be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Requirements
Typically six or more years of solid, diverse work experience in IT with a minimum of four years experience application program development, or the equivalent in education and work experience. Experience with web based technologies such as ASP.NET (MVC is a plus). Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server/T-SQL. Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Education
Bachelor degree in computer science or a related discipline.
