Property Manager/Office Manager

We are looking for a self-motivated and driven Property/Office Manager to bring our office to the next level.
The Property/Office Manager is responsible for providing clients with top-tier customer service and excellence in management services. Property Manager must demonstrate leadership and create trust with owners and tenants (both current and prospective), as well as contractors and other vendors. The Property Manager instills confidence in our services by taking world-class care of the properties we manage.
Job Duties:
Manage and support all day-to-day aspects of property management - including; marketing, leasing, and maintenance
Interact directly with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy - generating and handling traffic, leasing apartments, answering phones, qualifying prospects, preparing lease documentation and completing move-in paperwork and procedures
Property inspections
Develop and implement a leasing plan to attract new residents and retain current residents
Handle collections
Organize repairs and maintenance for managed properties
Reporting and compliance
Perform above duties in accordance with applicable laws and company policies

Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Demonstrated excellence in organization and the ability to coordinate and prioritize responsibilities and workflow to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner
Basic accounting knowledge
Local area knowledge
Building maintenance knowledge
Computer proficiency--Microsoft Office
Competency in the following:
Residential Tenancies Act
Strata Titles Legislation
Property, Stock and Business Agents Act
Anti-Discrimination Act
Trade Practices and Fair Trading Acts
Certificates of Registration
Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently
Looking for a long-term dependable employee looking for a challenge
At least one-year experience in residential property management or real estate

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
