The New Business Development Manager is responsible for the strategic development of sales opportunities for benefits administration and online enrollment solutions.
Direct responsibility for achieving yearly growth targets and business results through the identification and closure of business opportunities.
Work with matrix partners (product development, operations, sales effectiveness, and existing sales channels) to maximize utilization of capabilities where appropriate.
Leverage current distribution channel to expand broker/producer relationships that drive additional market opportunity.
Cultivate relationships with existing distribution channels/sales (internal and external).
Maintain deep product and market expertise and work directly with sales channels, brokers, and clients to present capabilities and promote product value proposition.
Demonstrate product capabilities and perform initial discovery with clients to understand product fit and client needs.
Develop strategies to support the achievement of business objectives based on data, market trends, and market differentiating product capabilities.
Provide market insights to matrix partners and leadership.
Mentor a small team of sales consultants that have deep subject matter expertise and facilitate the sale of capabilities to clients and brokers.
Develop and implement sales processes and procedures.
Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
Bachelor's Degree required. MBA preferred.
Experience in the benefits administration and/or benefits market.
Experience selling software solutions to Human Resources, VP and C-Level Executives.
Experience selling products and professional services both direct to client and through complex national distribution channels.
Prior experience developing and implementing market specific sales strategies.
Excellent presentation, communication, organization, people/team management, and leaderships skills.
50% Travel. Eastern US Location Preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
