Responsibilities:
Supervises the activities of the Healthcare dining Staff and participates in the interviewing process of prospective team members.
Facilitates communication between Nursing and Diet Aides regarding Residents' Diets.
Collaborates & Consults with the Dietitian on Resident's therapeutic needs.
Oversee and preserve the tray delivery system assuring proper food temperatures and correct diets are followed.
Work in partnership with nursing staff to assure that communication about tray delivery is correct and timely.
Supervises staff in following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Familiarizes self daily with menu, with special consideration to the dietary spread of the meal.
Review menu with Dietary staff.
Assures that therapeutic diets are followed as directed
Qualifications:
1-3 years' experience as a host/supervise requires Working with therapeutic diets experience preferred Serve Safe Certified, preferred Make a difference while making a living in an award-winning independent retirement community where your work helps change lives for the better every day.
